I'm Cassandra Jakes, the owner/operator of SonLight Insurance Agency.

 

I am pleased to welcome you. I was born and raised in sunny South Florida. My pursuit of education led me to North Florida, where I currently reside.

 

I didn't plan on having a long career in insurance, but sometimes our paths take unexpected turns. As the daughter of a former State Farm agent, I grew up immersed in insurance. However, it wasn't until after college that I gained a deeper appreciation and understanding of the industry. I worked at a local agency for over 14 years after college and earned the Associate in Insurance (AINS) designation to enhance my knowledge and skills.

 

Let me start by saying this agency is NOT about me. It's about PEOPLE FIRST. Insurance SECOND. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and enjoying good old conversations! So much is happening in people's lives around us that sometimes it's helpful just to STOP and lend a listening ear.

 

SonLight is a faith-based business. The name (and spelling) of the agency was not a mistake (although I get asked about it QUITE often)! God directed me to name it "SonLight" and spell it this way, so that's what I did!

 

I am dedicated to delivering exemplary service to my clients while preserving a personal rapport throughout the process. SonLight is expanding, and I would be pleased to have you as part of our growing family!
